JFK Airport Car Service from Long Island & NYC

Private, chauffeur-driven transfers to JFK from across Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens — with live flight tracking, meet-and-greet pickup and a chauffeur who already knows which terminal you actually need.

A JFK run from Long Island or the city is not a difficult drive — until it is. A closed ramp on the Van Wyck, a terminal that moved since you booked, or a flight that lands forty minutes early with nobody there to meet it. Edge Limousine exists to absorb all of that so your morning stays boring.

We handle JFK transfers from every town in Nassau and Suffolk County and from Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, in late-model black SUVs and executive sedans, with professionally trained, background-checked and licensed chauffeurs. Fares are quoted up front. There is no surge pricing, and no wondering whether a driver will accept the trip at 4:30 in the morning.

What's included on every JFK transfer

  • Real-time flight tracking. We monitor your flight and adjust the pickup time automatically for delays or early arrivals — at no extra charge.
  • Meet-and-greet or curbside pickup. Your choice. Meet-and-greet means a chauffeur waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign, helping with your bags.
  • Terminal confirmation. We check your current departure or arrival terminal before the trip, which matters more than usual right now.
  • Quoted, all-inclusive fares. You know the price before you ride.
  • Late-model black fleet. Escalade, Suburban, Aviator and Mercedes S-Class, cleaned between every trip.
  • Child seats on request. Forward-facing seats and boosters, just note it when booking.

JFK terminals are changing — here's what that means for your pickup

JFK is in the middle of a roughly $19 billion redevelopment, and 2026 is the year travellers actually feel it. Two major terminals have opened in phases this year, and a number of airlines have moved from the terminal printed on tickets booked months ago.

Terminal 6

The first phase of the new Terminal 6 opened in 2026 with 10 gates, most of them widebody-capable, as part of a $4.2 billion project that finishes in 2028. Airlines announced for Terminal 6 include JetBlue, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Frontier, Condor, Norse Atlantic, Icelandair, Kuwait Airways, ANA and Avianca.

New Terminal One

The New Terminal One opened its first phase later in 2026 with 14 gates, growing to 23 gates and 2.6 million square feet at completion — which will make it the largest terminal at JFK. Carriers moving in include Air France, Korean Air, Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways and China Airlines, consolidating from older terminals spread across the airport.

The practical problem

If you booked an international flight several months ago, the terminal on your itinerary may no longer be the terminal you need. Travellers are turning up at the wrong building, and at JFK that is not a two-minute correction — it is the AirTrain, a security line and a genuinely missed flight. We re-confirm your terminal before every pickup, and our chauffeurs drive the airport daily.

Approximate travel time to JFK

Typical door-to-terminal driving times in normal conditions. Long Island traffic is what it is, so treat these as a starting point — when you book, we'll recommend a pickup time for your specific flight and day of week.

Departing fromTypical drive to JFK
Western Nassau (Great Neck, Manhasset)30 – 45 min
Central Nassau (Garden City, Hicksville)35 – 55 min
Huntington & Melville45 – 70 min
Central Suffolk (Hauppauge, Smithtown)55 – 85 min
Eastern Suffolk / North Fork85 – 120 min

Rush hour, holiday weekends and summer Friday traffic to the East End can push these well past the upper end. We build that into your quoted pickup time.

How your JFK pickup works

Departing from Long Island or New York City

Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the scheduled pickup time, loads your luggage and takes you directly to your departure terminal. As a rule of thumb, plan to be at JFK three hours before a domestic flight and four before an international one — then add the drive. We'll suggest a specific time when you book.

Arriving at JFK

We track your inbound flight from takeoff. Choose curbside and your chauffeur meets you at the designated pickup area once you have your bags. Choose meet-and-greet and they'll be waiting inside arrivals with a name sign and a hand with the luggage — usually the better choice after a long-haul flight, or with family and multiple bags.

Private aviation

We also provide tarmac-side service at regional FBOs and at Republic Airport (FRG) for private and charter passengers.

JFK Car Service FAQs

As a general rule we suggest being at JFK three hours before a domestic departure and four before an international one, then adding travel time from your town. When you book, we'll recommend a specific pickup time based on your flight, your departure terminal and the traffic pattern for that day and hour.

We monitor every arriving flight in real time and adjust your pickup automatically for delays or early arrivals, at no extra charge. You don't need to call us to reschedule.

Your choice of curbside or inside meet-and-greet. With meet-and-greet your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and helps with your luggage. Curbside is quicker; meet-and-greet is easier if you're travelling with family, a lot of bags, or arriving on an international flight.

Check with your airline close to your travel date. JFK is mid-redevelopment, Terminal 6 and the New Terminal One have both opened in phases during 2026, and a number of airlines have moved. A terminal printed on a ticket booked months ago may no longer be correct. We confirm the current terminal before every pickup.

Flight monitoring and adjusting your pickup time are included at no extra charge. Ask your reservationist how complimentary wait time applies to your specific booking.

Yes. We cover every town in Nassau and Suffolk County, plus Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island — and the Hamptons, Connecticut and New Jersey.
